Yes. Every puzzle is a real, high-quality recipe. Master them in the game to build your permanent digital cookbook.
Do I need to know how to cook?
No! ZEST is for everyone. Beginners learn the basics, while pros perfect their 'mise en place'. It's brain training for foodies.
How do purchases work?
See the App Store for the current download price and available purchases. The current app does not require a recurring subscription. Verified owners of earlier paid-download versions retain full access. The App Store shows the price for your region.
What game modes are available?
Choose between Zen (relaxing), Rush (against the clock), or Strategy (limited moves). Each mode trains different aspects of your culinary logic.
What do I learn about cooking techniques?
You master classical French cutting techniques like Mirepoix, Julienne, and Brunoise through precise puzzles. Your rank rises from Commis to Chef Légendaire.
What is 'Knolling Mode'?
Inspired by 'Mise en Place': In this mode, you arrange ingredients and tools perfectly in a grid – pure aesthetic satisfaction.
Is my progress saved?
ZEST stores progress on your device and uses Apple iCloud for supported data when available. Use the same Apple Account on your devices. Synchronization is not an independent backup; contact support before deleting the app to troubleshoot missing progress.
Can I share my achievements?
Absolutely. Generate 'Gourmet Cards' for your mastered recipes with your personal stats and share them with friends.
How do I restore full access?
Choose Restore Purchases in the app using the Apple Account associated with your original purchase. If access is still missing, contact support@egoheadworks.com.
