A learning journal without the homework

Keep one thing you learned today.

A learning journal is a record of what you noticed, tried and want to explore next. Start with one observation rather than a complete account of your day. This exercise follows Klarjahr’s learning theme in example day 80.

I grow every day by courageously learning something new.

Try this today

  1. Choose a small edge

Pick something just beyond your usual routine: an unfamiliar tool, a question you have avoided, or a different way to do one task.

  2. Record the useful part

Write what surprised you, what you tried and what happened. A specific example is more useful to revisit than “I learned a lot.”

  3. Leave a next step

End with one question you still have. Tomorrow you can follow it, change direction or leave it alone.

Make it part of your day

Klarjahr brings a daily thought, a short practice and your own words into one flow. Explore three example days on the landing page, then keep your reflections in the app.

Your questions

What should a learning journal include?

One new observation, an example of where it came from, and a question to return to. A few lines are enough.

Is this only for work?

No. It can be a recipe, a conversation, a creative experiment or something you noticed about your own habits.

Keep exploring
