2. In short

Knocko has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The app makes no network requests. Everything your child does in Knocko stays on the device.

3. What the app stores on the device

Knocko stores the following only on the device it runs on:

• rituals: when your child knocked, the streak of days and the magic time stamps,
• the wood types your child has unlocked and selected,
• wishes written into the wish book,
• the first names of knock buddies and their shared flames,
• settings from the parents area, such as reminders.

EGOHEAD WORKS does not run a server for this data and never receives it.

4. Reminders

Reminders at magic times are optional and are switched on in the parents area. iOS asks once for permission to show notifications. The reminders are local notifications that the device schedules itself. Nothing is sent over the internet for this.

5. The parents area

The parents area is protected by Face ID, the device passcode or a math question. iOS checks Face ID and the passcode; the app only learns whether the check passed.

6. Purchases

The optional Knocko Family subscription is offered only in the parents area. Apple handles the purchase, the free trial, renewals and cancellation. EGOHEAD WORKS never sees your payment details. You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings. The subscription is governed by Apple's standard license agreement (EULA).

7. Children

Knocko is made for children. The app collects no personal data from children and shares nothing with third parties. There are no ads in the app.

8. Deleting data

"Delete all data" in the parents area removes the streak, rituals, wishes and knock buddies from the device. Deleting the app also removes all of its data.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Knocko's data exists only on your device, so you can delete it yourself at any time. For questions, write to the address above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example Die Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
