DRIVEMOMENTS COCKPIT DESIGN STARTER KIT — v0.2 / 2026-10-17

This is editable original artwork for a planned Cockpit Studio feature.
Cockpit video is being added to the next internal TestFlight build.
Current builds do NOT import these templates; the JSON is still a design proposal.
The JSON is a design proposal, NOT a supported app interchange format.

CONTENTS
- Analog Touring: original circular 0–240 km/h instrument with a red needle style.
- Digital Track: original typographic layout for speed, distance and time.
- Redline Chronograph: original three-instrument graphite/ivory/red design.
Each includes editable SVG, a transparent 3840 x 2160 PNG and a labeled preview.

START HERE
1. Open design-with-example-values.svg in your vector editor (for example Figma,
Affinity Designer, Inkscape or Illustrator). Edit colors, shapes and typography.
2. Hide/remove the group named example-values before exporting static artwork.
Those values are samples. Speed, needle angle, distance, duration and G-force
must later be driven by actual telemetry, not baked into your graphic.
3. overlay.svg and overlay-4k.png already omit the example values. They preserve
transparency in the upper camera area. Do not flatten against a black canvas.
4. Keep an editable master. Export PNG at 3840 x 2160 for the landscape 4K canvas.
The neutral preview road is only a visual mock-up, not camera footage.
5. layout-proposal.json lists normalized coordinates (0–1), measured from top-left.
This is a draft design contract. It cannot be imported by the current app.

UNITS AND ANIMATION
- Analog Touring is calibrated for 0–240 km/h only. If converting to mph, change
tick labels AND maximum range together; changing only the unit label is wrong.
- Redline Chronograph is calibrated for 0–240 km/h; change ticks AND range for mph.
- Digital Track can use km/h or mph once the dynamic text and units are bound.
- Artwork has no frame rate. A future 4K/60 renderer must update dynamic graphics
at video timestamps; it must not invent GPS samples or RPM/gear data.
- System sans-serif typography is intentional. Font rendering varies by editor.
Convert text to outlines in your own final artwork if exact typography matters.
- Do not use famous car logos or reproduce a manufacturer's cockpit artwork.
